Who AM I?

Who AM I?

Hello there!

My name is Archie and I am a young, neurodivergent graphic designer and all-round creative from North–East Lincolnshire making my way through the industry. Whilst being a recent undergraduate from York St. John University, my experience has led me to foster a proficient and committed connection to visual communications; specialising in brand/visual identity, publication, printmaking, and motion graphics design.

Furthermore, my disciplines revolve around bringing awareness towards social injustices and enhancing social and cultural consciousness. I simply want to make a change; no matter how small or big that might be. I believe being selfless and designing by that motive helps me to connect with people and experiences, which has helped to amplify the ambitions of my projects and work.

As always, meeting and exceeding expectations has pushed me to make client satisfaction and relations a top priority. I am open to questions, chats about the world, and any collaborations!

Stay curious, experimental, and conscious.

– Archie.

My main duties were to direct and manage the creative design process within the graphic design team. I also worked directly with the creative team whilst overseeing and managing several projects at once. Furthermore, I worked closely with clients; providing high–quality and innovative designs. Additionally, I was responsible for keeping up with contemporary market trends.

  • Grimsby Docks, Grimsby.

Creative Start is a non–profit that supports local communities through murals, artwork, and help centers. My role involved collaborating with the team to design murals and wall typography for a project at Grimsby Docks. This centre, titled ‘The Great Escape’, provides support to individuals recovering from past addictions, offering both help and a space to connect with others and the artwork that reflects their experiences and speaks for those in need. This experience helped me to connect and empathise with a diverse community of people.
